What is the best way to study for finals?

The best way to study for the finals would have to be, study with friends that are in your class so they would know what to expect, study in a quite place, and try to have fun while studying. Some people just needs to relax when they study because they are thinking to much about the test and the problems that are needed to be solve, what you need to do is just take a ten to twenty minute break by doing some fun and then come back and study because your noise is always in the book and all you need to do is to get it out and get some fresh air and then when you are done with the break you can get back to studying and everything would be fine.

Another way to study is to write things down; some people remember things better when they are writing things. I learn and remember better when i write things because i would see and read what i am looking at and then i would write it down and by then time i am finish writing it down i would have already know what i wrote about. Some people like me; are a visual learner and it is not easy to be a visual learner because you have to see or write down what you have learning about because if you don't see it in action or if you write it down then you won't remember it.

Another way is to on the Internet and search stuff about who to study for a final and the Internet will show you all different kinds of ways to study and you would be surprise on how many thing it will show. Then things you find will be very help full because there is more than 50 listing of how to study for a final.

Do you like music? Why? What kind(s) of music do you listen to?

Do i like music.....of course i like music, why wouldn't i like music. Music is part of my life because i listen to music everyday. Music is all around you, everywhere you go, you hear all sorts of music and the best thing is that it doesn't take much to make good music. If you were to go to the park you would hear music coming from someones radio, some young kids clapping their hands to a beat, or someone singing a song. There is no place where you can go and not hear music. I listen to music everyday of my life, i listen to music when i am in my car, when i walk to class i would have my ipod with me, when i go into stores i would hear music that they play for the customers, and even when i go fishing i would hear my friend sing a song because he has nothing to do. The reason why i like music is because it takes your mind to a different place and lets you relax and forget about the bad things that had happen. I would listen to all kinds of music, hip-hop, R&B, rap, country, etc. It doesn't matter what kind of song they are, as long as the music sounds good then i would listen to it because music gets me in the mood of, dancing, smiling, and just singing a song.

What do you like most about the town where you live (or your hometown)? What would you change about it?

The most I like about Oroville is that it has a lot of different place to fish, swim, and camp, because I am a outdoor guy and I love to go fishing. The name Oroville means, (the city of gold), and the reason why they gave this town that name is because back in the late 1920's when they first discover gold in the rivers, everyone was pany in the rivers and in Oroville, there is a river called the Father River that had fresh clear water and it was filled with gold that hasn't been discover. The Father River wasn't just filled with just gold. Once spring starts, the salmon that comes from the ocean to mate in the fresh water of the Father River and that brought fisher men from all over just to fish for salmon. Oroville is great for the great big dam that was built in the 1930's. Every year the rain would flood the little town of Oroville until they built the dam and now the Oroville dam is one of the biggest dams in the United States. The dam is holding Lake Oroville from spilling out into the town, and Lake Oroville is one of the biggest lakes in the world. When the dam was built, there were little towns and house that were on the sores or the lake until it the lake got bigger and flooded the little towns and houses. Now the lake is so big that it was name one of the biggest lakes in the world. There has been a lot of stories about the lake that may seem weird or unreal but there was this one story that was true but it is hard to believe. A couple of years ago, the dam had a little problem where the fencing down below had to be welded together in order to keep things from going into the pipes and there were these two underwater welders that were good at welding underwater and they were just welding and doing there job until one of the welders turn around and looked around just for fun until he saw this big huge Cat Fish that was the size of a school bus and no one would believe them and no one would go down there to finish the job, but I think that it is already fixed now but I believe those guys because a lake that big and a lake that old there can be anything inside Lake Oroville. There is also no records of how big a cat fish can grew up to so it is possible. These are just one of the great storys about Oroville.

If you had the time to volunteer, where would you volunteer? What would you do? Why? (If you do volunteer work, describe what you do!)

If I had time to volunteer, I would volunteer at a head start school, because I like to work with little kids because they always have something new to tell you or they would always ask you things that are not that hard to answer. Working with little kids are a lot of fun because they have five to six breaks in a day and they are hardly in class too. I would be helping the kids paint pictures, draw stick figures, sing ABC, count 123, and I would be helping them play on the jungle Jen. But the people that I would be helping the most is the teacher because they cannot control all of those kids at one time and they need some help to control all of the kids. If I didn't have to work or worry about bills, then I would be helping kids and teacher for free because its fun working with kids but the best thing of all is having fun with them because you doing don't have all of those hard math problems, or hard English questions, you would just have to know how to sing along with the class and count the fingers that are on your hands, there is not much to it. When you work with the little kids you can act all stupid and the kids would think it is funny and they would laugh all the time, working with the kids lets you become a kid all over again and all the stress that you have will all go away because you are having fun with the kids. Just having the feeling of being a kid again is a great feeling because when you are all grown up you have to do a lot serious things and worry about a lot of things too and that would cause stress so that is why I would volunteer to work with little kids because it takes all that stuff away and gets you to relax again.

How would you like to be remembered?

I would like to be remember as a nice, kind, and great person because I would rather let people remember me as something good and not something that is bad or bad example for kids or other people. I would like to me remember as someone who did something great but not that great, just something that is good enough to be remember by. I love cars, fishing, and racing, so I think it would be good for people to remember me by because I am great at racing. On friday, or saturday, nights we would go racing and just having a good time and thats what I would do. I would like to be remember because I love cars more than any other of my friends and I am very good at fixing cars. On the weekends when I have the time I would work in my car and just fix things that needs to be fix or replace things that are needed to replace, but if I have the money I would add some after market parts to my car and make it look nice and make it go faster. I would also like people to remember me by how I love to go fishing because fishing is almost like my life because, when I am not working on my car or going to school I would be out with my friends and we would be fishing. I would always catch fish everywhere I go and I never keep the small one's because I let them go so that next time I come fishing they would be big and huge so that I can take them home and cook them up. I would also like to be remember as a person who, helps other people out, tries to be a good person, and someone who doesn't really say'no' to anyone. I have been going to school ever since I was 5 years old and I have learned about all sorts of people that are famous and just great in a way and some of them are remember by the good things they do, and some of them are remember by the bad things they do and threw out my school years I don't hear much about people that do bad things because they are not wanted to be remember by and the people that are talked about the most in the class rooms are people that has done good things to help other people and the nation. This is how I would like to be remember by.

What will life be like 20 years from now? What will you be doing?

I think that, 20 years from now, we would of found a way to stop global warming and everyone would be able to go out and have fun with the sun. Everyone would finally be able to afford a Hybrid car, but i choose not to buy one, there would be a bridge that takes us from New York city to England or China, there would also be a bridge that takes us from S.F. to Hawaii, so that people can travel cheap and not expenses. 20 years from now people would be more lazier and and the entertainment center in the house could be worked with the voice of a person and not by remote anymore. People could drive without using there hands and just have it on cruse control and the car will drive for you. I think there might be some robots running around town for cleaning up the town but I am not sure they will have robots out into the world yet but it could happen. I know in 20 years from now little business are going to shut down because other people are going to find ways to make things easier and more faster and better so small business are going to shut down and people are going to lose there jobs.

In 20 years, I would be married, have kids, and have a job that will support my family, house, cars, and people around me. I hope I would have already finish college and work at a good job that pays me good and give me good benefits. I hope i would be driving fast cars and drifting with the great drifters, and have my own garage so that i can have all me cars there and have some project cars that needs to be worked on. I would like to have a good life in 20 years but if I have a good life before 20 years then it would be even better.

Write about a favorite memory from your childhood? Try to use as much detail as possible.

My favorite childhood memory would have to be, when I first started school, I was so happy to start school that I would get up so early just to get ready and then I would wake my father up and ask him to take me to school. I couldn't want to go to Head Start, but when I got there I was so scared because I didn't know anyone and I didn't have any friends but a couple of days later I made a lot of friends. I would love to go to school because at home I had no friends besides my mom but when I was at school I made a lot of friends and that felt great because I met people who like the same things as I did and kids who were as active as I was. I learn new things at school that I would have never would of learn at home, at that age school was a blast. When I was done with Head Start, it was time for me to move on and start Kindergarten and I wasn't to excited because I didn't know if I would see any of my old friends and I didn't know if I would be able to make any new friends but I went anyways. When I got to school, I saw all of these kids running around and I didn't even know them, I saw new faces that I haven't seen before and I was all alone until my old friend, Mathew, from head start came up to me and said, HEY BAM, lets go and play on the slide, and I was so happy that I finally found one of my best friends from Head Start and now I know that I am not lonely anymore. The best thing was that he had the same homeroom as I did and that really made me happy so now I always wanted to go to school so that I can meet my old and new friends again.

Describe a “perfect weather” day. What would you do on a day like this?

The perfect weather would have to be a sunny day but not too hot or too cold, just hot enough so that you don't have to take off your shirt and not cold enough that you have to put on a jacket, just warm enough that you can enjoy your day so that you don't have to worry about the heat or the cold. On this perfect day, every animal has to be out doing something, every person would be doing something, like walking in the park, taking a nice drive, and just have a drink, setting outside. On this perfect day, we would all me having a good time, everyone just enjoying the day, everyone is off of work and just relaxing, there would be no crime that will be happening on this day because it would be a perfect day. On this perfect day, I would be fixing my car and when i am done, I would take my car out for a drive and just enjoy the great day. I would call up some of my friends and ask if they would like to go out for a drive and then later on I will be going fishing with my friends and we will be catching a lot of fish and just have a good time. Later on, on to the night, I will have a barbecue with my friends and we will cook our fishes and cooks some steak and have some beers and some laughs. But during the barbecue, the night has to be warm, warm enough so that we don't have to get out our jackets and there has to be no mosquito fly around because mosquito will ruin the whole night and the fun will be over. Everyone would be up talking threw the whole night and just keep the subject going so that every would stay to hang out and not go home until the next day. This would be my perfect day.

If you could invite three famous people to dinner, who would you invite? What would you talk about? What would you eat?

If i could invite three famous people to dinner, I would invite, Bruce Lee, Jet Lee, and Jackie Chan. Because I would like to ask Bruce Lee what he eats to stay in shape and how does he moves so fast because i would like to learn his fast moves and he's great Gung Fu, that is what he calls it. Bruce and I would talk about his Gung Fu and the different ways he works out to keep his body in shape and also how is he able to kick a light bulb that is 12 feet high and he doesn't have to run and kick it, he can just stand in one spot and just kick it and the light bulb would just shatter. Bruce and I would eat whatever Bruce would like to eat because he is a guess at my table and I would like to know what he like to eat so that maybe some day i can do the things that he can do too.
I wanted Jet Lee to have dinner with me because i would also like to learn his Kung Fu because he has these great fighting stance and i love to watch his video's, where he would fight a lot and then gets hurt but in the long run he would get up and fight again and beat the bad guys up. Jet and I would talk about Kung Fu and why would he show his kung fu to the world because for a great master like Jet Lee, why would he show the world his great fighting. Jet and I would be eating whatever Jet wants to eat because he is a guess at my table so i would like to respect him.
Last but not least, I would like to have Jackie Chan to have dinner with me because Jackie does all of his stunts, fight, and acting by himself, and he is very talented because he makes serious fighting movies and comedy fighting movies too and that's what i like about Jackie because doesn't just do action all the time he does funny movies too so that everyone would like the movie. Jackie has gotton hurt so many times by doing his own stunt in his own video's, that he was call "stunt masters". Jackie Chan was so famous that when the fans heard that he got married, one of his fans killed herself because she wanted Jackie Chan to be there's.

Describle a memorable teacher you have had? How was he/she special for you?

The most memorable teacher i have ever had was back in eight grade, when i had a teacher named Mr. Bryent, and he was a very cool teacher because the way he taught the class was like better than the other teachers that i have ever had. He was a history teacher and he told storey's about the American history and the great wars they had in the past, and he could tell the story's like he was in the war. Mr. Bryent wasn't a very old guy, he just had a baby girl when i first started in his class, and he would always have his way of teach the class because whatever he taught in the class, everyone would remember and they would always do good on the homework but when it came down to the test, Mr. Bryent would make it so hard so that it would be almost impossible to get a 80% or higher but Mr. Bryent required only a 70% to pass, some students had to take the test twice or even three times to pass but Mr. Bryent would always encourage everyone to do well and try their best and that's what everyone did. Everyone who had his class wish that they would have him for a teacher forever because he taught so well. He was special to me because he showed me a new way of learning and how to take different kinds of test. I remember would take the class out to the grass and make us play out a war or some thing that has to do with the history of America.

What is your definition of love?

My definition of love is, love is a powerful word because love means a lot of different kinds of things. Love means, i miss you, i care about you, i hate you, i don't like you, I don't want you because love has all different kinds of meaning because when you are in a relationship you are some times happy and some times sad because not every relationship is perfect and your not always happy every time and there are times that you are mad or hate that person but you still love them and care about that person. Love are both good and bad things because this is what keeps relationships going. You need the good things to keep that person happy and full of joy but you also need the bad things so that the other person will understand the other side of you and then they would know what to do and what not to do at certain times. Trust is another way to tell someone you love them because if you cannot trust that person you are with then how is the relationship going to work because if you cannot trust that person to be with his or her friends then your relationship will always go wrong and you would never get to enjoy the good things in life. So love is the good things in life and sometimes bad things but if you have patient and you are willing to do anything for this person then take your time to get to know each other and just have fun with each other and don't worry about getting serious or anything like that because you two have a lot of time to decide when to get married or to get serious because when you two just meet, it is just the begaining of a new start.

What is worth fighting for?

What is worth fighting for, i would have to say, freedom, love, religions, friends, family, cars, etc. You would fight for things that means something and i mean it has to mean a lot to you in order for you to fight for it. You fight for these things because you want this thing that you are fight for and you have to have it so you fight for it, it doesn't matter if it is a fist fight or a political fight, you will fight for it in any way you can because you believe in what you are fighting for. The thing i would mostly fight for is to let Japaneses parts and cars be legal in the US because i understand the smog and safety issue but if we were to make them safe then couldn't we have the cars then because i know that the American motors are not selling a lot of there cars because of gas prices and the parts for a American car is just too expenses. And i would fight for the Butte College cafeteria because the prices for the school lunches are just way to high and it cost to much to buy food from school. I would fight for financial aid because it cost a lot for just one class and if we didn't have financial aid then i wouldn't be in school right now so fight for financial aid would be worth fighting for because it helps a lot of people to stay in college and it helps other people who doesn't have enough money, so that they can go to college too. Not a lot people has the money to go to college so financial aid helps a lot.

Describle someone who is close to you? What do you admire most about this person?

The person i admire the most is my father because he is a strong person who cares about his family and friends. When my father was 15 years old he was in the secret war in Laos, he was fighting for his people freedom. The American CIA was helping the Hmong, Mien, and some Laos people by supplying them with weapons, food, and cloths, so in return, the men of the group would fight the Vietcong's for the CIA. This is why it is called the secret war because the United States didn't know about the war except the CIA and so my father fought in the war for two years and then it was time to leave Laos and go to Thailand and some people were going to America instead so my father left Laos and came to the United States. When he got here he met my mother and they got married and moved out to California where they had me in Oroville. My father has no high degree or college degree but he still finds a way to feed a family of 9. My father has been a very good father and had always tried to give us everything as much as he can. He works hard to see that we have what we need so that we can have other things likes everyone else. He puts use in school and helps us to try to do our best so that we can have a better life and so that we wouldn't have to work so hard to get things that we want because he just wants us to work alittle to get a lot.

What make you happy? What can you do to bring more happiness to your life?

The things that makes me happy are the people that are around me. The people that love me and care about me are the people that makes me happy and also the cars i have and want makes me happy. The people around me, makes me laugh and brings joy to my life and they help out whenever i need help. The people around me also shows me new things that i haven't seen before and tought me a lot of other stuff that i have never known that is very cool and exciting. My friends and family are the people that gives me there friendship and there love so you can say these people are what makes me happy. The cars i have are what makes me enjoy the life have motor sports because this is my hobbies and i love to suit up my car and make it look like it is unstop able. I know a lot about cars and i love to work on them and the car loves to take me out for a drive and show me how fast it can go and that brings joy to my life. The only thing that i can do to bring more happiness to my life is go buy or suit up cars and get to know more people and just have fun with everything i have around me. I don't need a lot of things to make me happy i just have to make the things around me happy first and i hope that in the long run they will make me happy too.

Describle your dream job? What would you do in this posistion? What would you enjoy about it?

My dream job would have to be a Formula one race car driver or a Formula D race car driver but i am trying to go for a formula one race car driver because these are little cars with big wheels in the rear that can reach over 200 mph within a couple of seconds and you are also taking hard turns, left and right. These car only has a 4 stroke motor that is build to the limit, non-turbo, non-supercharge, and all it really has is just a light weight body and a great suspension. I love going fast and taking hard turns going fast too so i know this would be my dream job because i would be driving almost everyday to train myself to become better and to become the best but this is just still a dream job. For this job i would just be racing against other racers all over the world just for a title of being the best. The thing i would enjoy most about this jop would be, just getting to go fast in a saft envirment and having a good time drive a really fast car.

I would like to be a Formula D race car driver too because i would also like to go sideways at speeds as fast as 85 to 95 mph's. They call this drifting and what drifting is about is, getting out of control of your car while you are in control with the car and this sport requires a rear wheel car that has atleast 250 hp to the wheels. There are all different kinds of cars that are in this sport and but they are all manly rear wheel drive. I would be the one driving the car and making it go sideways as much as i can and try to keep it going sideways as long as i can and then i would have to quickly get the car going the other way but i cannot stop the car or slow down because if i do then i will lose points. The thing i enjoy most in this sport is that i can get sideways and chase other people that are in front of me and we just go sideways all day and burn up some tires.

How can you get the most out of your time at Butte College?

The only way i can get the most out of Butte College is to see if i can join any clubs that i am interested in, sports that i would like to try out, and other activity that Butte has to offer to me as a student. I should take the tiime and walk around Butte college and see the different kinds of classes and different kinds of activity because i know Butte college has all sorts of things to do and different clubs to join. Butte has a lot of things to do and activity to watch and join. Rightnow I am enjoying everything about the auto program rightnow because I love cars and the auto program is just rigth for me. I am in the Honda program so I am trying to become a Honda Tech, so that I can go work at a Honda dealer in the United States or over seas. I have also join a club which is called Asian Club and I am liking this club because i am getting the chance to meet different kinds of race that I haven't seen or met before and you dont have to be asian to join the club you can be any kind of race because this club is for everyone. I also like the computer lab in the LRC building because I have the chance to research things that i need for a report or a project so when i go to the computer lab I will have access to the internet and I will be able to get a lot of research and typing done in one building.

Drift Night

It was a cold night, me and my friend were just out in a empty parking lot, just waiting for the right time. I was sitting in my s13 240sx , and he was sitting in his FC RX-7 and we were waiting for the right time to drift. Few hours went by and it was 2am in the morning and i said it was time, time to drift so i tell him that i would chase him, so he drives off fast, and then i follow him and then the race starts. He drifts to the right i drift to the right, we both are to the right and i am still in his tail, then he counter steers and rips the e-brake so that he will turn to the left and as he turns he i turn too but i come into the corner earlier and fast so i take the lead and then his following me. We are drifting to a couple of minutes and then we can to a stop, because some our friends shows up. So we all parked our cars and talked, but there was someone new that came out to watch the race. We all started to talk about drifting and the new guys come out of no where and says, "why do you guys drift", everyone gets quite..............and i come up and say, drifting is a way to release the anger inside of you and to get loose and just feel the car and the road, it not just burning out tires or redlining your car, its more than that, some people say it is just a sport but to me it is a way of life. Then the new guy asked everyone, "why are you going to burn some tires just for fun and then buy new ones and do the same thing again, isn't a waste of money", i tell the new guy that it is never a waste of money for a fun time so i asked him if he would like to go for a ride so that he will know how drifting is like, so he got into my car and we drove off into the empty parking lot. I told the new guy to put his seat belt on so that he won't be flying everywhere, but the new people never listen so i kick the clutch and turn to the right and we started the slide and i counter steer to the left so that i can stay in the drift and the only thing i could hear was my screaming tires and the guy right next to me screaming for me to stop but i am not stoping yet so i rip the e-brake and slide to the left and i counter steer to the right and the guy slide right over to my side and he is still screaming. Then we came to a stop and he was speach less, i asked him how it was and he says, he would like to but a 240sx rightnow and start drifting.
